The eldest of five children, Jean Steel, a blond blue-eyed little girl, grew up with the children in Africa and Asia. That decade, on unfamiliar foreign soil, cultivated in her the confidence, strength and resilience many of us work a lifetime to achieve.
A born communicator, Jean earned her Master’s Degree in Wellness Mind/Body Health and has been a highly sought after and well-respected keynote speaker for groups such as ours, seminars and corporate retreats across the nation for more than 20 years.
Founder of “Happy People Win”, a wellness training and speaking firm (HappyPeopleWin.com), Jean has also authored two books—“I’d Like to Run Wild!: A Wellness Action Guide” and “Need Change? Customer Service Tips to Grow from Good to Great.”
“Customer Service for Solopreneurs” will be the key focus of Jean’s presentation to the SLO Women’s Network, but she’ll also address how to set yourself apart, what determines your on-line reputation, the common barriers to active listening and some key ways to create a positive initial impression.
