Bio & Business Description
Mariah (aka a professional hype girl) is a life long local to the Central Coast. She spent years in the banking and hospitality industries before starting her entrepreneurial journey in 2015, creating the first escape room on the central coast with her husband, Patrick.
In 2015 they built SLO County's first Escape Room, The Locked Inn. This creation came right at the beginning of the escape room hype in the US. After growing the business and building multiple rooms, they sold The Locked Inn to new owners and it's still the most popular escape room on the Central Coast (rated top 100 in the world 2 years ina row).
In 2020 together they opened Bare Heart Boudoir Photography Studio in Los Osos where they specialized in empowering and intimate photography for women, couples and men. At Bare Heart Boudoir each luxury experience is a two day event where individuals get pampered in a safe space where they can explore and capture their unique beauty.
In November 2024 they sold Bare Heart Boudoir to a wonderful local woman who is taking it to new heights. Mariah and her husabnd are currently taking a "mini retirement" while they enjoy time together before they start their next new adventure!
