Financial planning for the self-employed “solo-preneur”/entrepreneur

If you are your own boss, what does it really take to achieve the desired measure of financial independence? According to Peter Drucker, “the best way to predict your future is to create it”.

Join Suze Moss as she shares the Revolution Financial Management educational approach to financial planning. As self employed individuals we are solely responsible for planning our retirement which means we also have the privilege to envision our retirement lifestyle. Suze will share about savings plans and protecting investments from unnecessary losses.

Please come be a part of this thoughtful and intriguing conversation topic.

Suze Moss was born and raised in Haiti, and immigrated to the United States in 1978 after marrying an American citizen. She lived in New Mexico (Santa Fe/Los Alamos/Albuquerque) for a few decades.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing, and a master’s degree in business administration with Health Care Management.  She completed a tour of duty in the United States Air Force Nurse Corps, where she practiced in Emergency and Intensive Care units. Following separation with the rank of captain, she took a position as Manager of a multi-specialty Clinic. In 2012, she  relocated to Southern California to be closer to her daughter and granddaughter. After the death of her daughter from complications of breast cancer, Suze pivoted to the financial services industry, working as an agent licensed in CA, and many other States.

Her interests align with strengthening her Catholic Faith, continuous learning, self improvement, and volunteering. She delights in a couple of fun trips a year with her husband. Additionally, one of her important roles for now is to be supportive of her 16-year old granddaughter. As a born “carer”, Suze is truly concerned with people’s welfare. Striving always to serve others is a lifestyle that has informed all of her career choices.

Menu Choices for Bang the Drum Brewery:

Note: For Vegan or Gluten Free Options, see below.

All pies come with your choice of a kale side salad or mashed potatoes.

    • Chicken Pot Pie: Made with onions, celery, carrots, cream, peas, rosemary and thyme, all baked within our house-made all-butter crust.
    • Mac & Beer Cheese Pie: Made with Dublin cheddar, mozzarella and their house amber lager.
    • Steak & Draca Pie: Made with slow-cooked brisket with onions, gravy and our house smoked porter, all baked within our house-made all-butter crust. Comes with side of house-made pickled onions.
    • Spicy Curry Veggie Pie (Gluten Free -OR- Vegan): The spicy veggie curry has sweet potatoes, potato, carrots, onions, peas and corn with curry spices and coconut milk and oil. The filling has no gluten or dairy/meat products.     NOTE: The crust of the Spicy Curry Veggie Pie makes it GF or Vegan. The Gluten-Free crust is made with real butter and a blend of gluten free ingredients. The Vegan crust is made with unbleached flour with vegan butter. The combination of vegan butter and gluten free "flour" doesn't make a good crust for the pies, so it is either one or the other.
    • NEW Moo'shroom Pie: Made with cremini mushrooms, roasted onions, creamy, gruyere cheese thyme & rosemary.
    • Kale Salad: This is a larger (3x) portion of the kale side salad. It is dressed with olive oil, lemon juice, garlic and salt.
    • Mashed Potatoes (side): Creamy mashed potatoes made with Yukon and Russet potatoes, garlic and vegetable broth. Please note that this item contains dairy.
