A message from the Board: The Board of Directors would like to take this time to acknowledge our appreciation for our members and their guests for their continuing support of the Women's Network of San Luis Obispo County. The organization would not exist and thrive without you. We are constantly looking at ways to improve your experience and bring more value to you through the monthly meetings, monthly coffee meetups or mixers, and special events throughout the year. We hope you are enjoying and taking advantage of the new beautiful roster format with both SLOWN and member events listed. We strive to maintain time efficiency in our meetings out of respect for all schedules. We will be working on new improvements in the months ahead.
As you know, we have had challenges in finding locations that are suitable and will provide a comfortable space, free parking and a menu that accommodates all our dietary needs while keeping within what we believe is a reasonable price. In fact, we have been able to keep the same monthly meeting fee at $28 for a number of years. Although an increase in the luncheon fee is never a welcome message, we find it necessary to increase it to $35 due to rising restaurant/venue costs. To help offset the increase, we will discontinue the late fee.
