Guest Speaker(s) Background: Stephen Stern, founder, driver and lawyer of the nation’s first Mobile Law Center, has been practicing law for 20 years, He focuses on small business development, contracts, copyrights, trademarks, debt and wills and trusts. He is also an adjunct professor at CalPoly, where he teaches business law, media law and other business courses since 2004. Tony de la Riva, is an art director and multi-disciplinary designer on the Central Coast with an emphasis in branding and web design. As an independent with a marketing-agency background, he has worked for a list of clients that includes the Santa Maria Valley Humane Society, Cal Poly, the County of San Luis Obispo, and Damsels in Defense, to name a few.
