Women earn 82 cents for every $1 earned by a man. That means we have to work an extra 47 days to earn the same amount that men do.* I don’t know any woman who has an extra day let alone an extra 47 days.
Every day we slip a little farther behind. By the time we’re ready to retire, we have $1 million less than a man who remained continuously in the workforce.**
If we want change, we have to start having conversations about money. We need to start asking financial questions like these:
• How can I make more money?
• How do I protect my family?
• What do I need to do to prepare for retirement?
• Will I even be able to retire?
You’re invited to a meeting hosted by women for women to discuss these issues. Bring your own questions and concerns. No judgement!
Gretchen Ricker, will present a powerful message about what you can do to start taking control of your financial future.
