Long Term Care - Choice.  Options.  Control.

Living a long life is a probability.  Having a strategy for long-term care is a necessity and gives you added peace of mind.  Kellie Phillips will share what exactly is Long Term Care?  Who needs it, why, and what does it cost?  Everyone can walk away with a first draft long term care plan of their own by answering the questions she will lead us through during her presentation, who, what, where, and how.  The goal is to educate our members, because everyone’s situation is different, so everyone’s plan will be different, and plans change with time.  The information Kellie will be sharing, no matter your age or current understanding of long term care, will be helpful for you or a loved one when the time comes.  Please join us for June’s luncheon and discussion of this important topic for our aging population.

Kellie Phillips moved to the Central Coast in 1989, with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Kent State University of Ohio, married & raised her 2 kids here, and had a successful 25+ year career in Executive Management roles leading operations and client experience teams with several local technology firms.  Then in 2018, she had her “aha” moment.  Wanting to serve clients in a meaningful way, bringing life-changing value to people’s lives, without dealing with looking for work if a company sold, merged, or moved out of the area, she was presented with an opportunity.  A client of New York Life Insurance herself, she was invited to join NYL, as an agent, owning her own local agency.  A switch from technology to the financial services industry, getting licensed & registered, and starting over in a new career, at 55.  Now, in the 5th year of owning her business, Kellie uses her extensive life and work experience, along with a vast local network of trusted professionals she refers, to help women prepare for their future.  Both their dreams & what keeps them up at night.   Life.
