Join us for our June Monthly Meeting at an Exciting New Location!

Welcome New Board Members

Relationships First Program

Hello!

We have some exciting news!  We all had so much fun at Bang the Drum Brewery that we decided to move our monthly meetings there.

Bang the Drum is a woman-owned and operated business. They support women in business and are eager to accommodate our group. The location is centrally located in San Luis Obispo, and the space is in an oasis of greenery with ample free parking. Read on for menu details.

This month we welcome the arrival of summer with 4 new board members:

  • Christiana Maria Sunderland
  • Mariah Eaves
  • Lisa Hoyt
  • Frances Esters

Frances Esters has stepped up for the Secretary position. Lisa Hoyt will be in charge of Facilities. Michelle Toroian has stepped up from an At-Large position to Membership Co-Chair along with Mariah Eaves.

Christiana Marie, our new Programs Chair, has planned a Speed Networking program for this month. We will all have a chance to discover more about our members and guests. What a perfect way to support "Relationships First!"

Register by Wednesday, June 12 for the on-time fee.

Menu Choices for Bang the Drum Brewery:

Note: For Vegan or Gluten Free Options, check out the Spicy Curry Veggie Pie below

All pies come with a kale side salad.

  • Chicken Pot Pie: Personal-sized 5” savory Chicken Pot Pie with onions, celery, carrots, cream, peas, rosemary and thyme, all baked within our house-made all-butter crust.
  • Steak & Draca Pie: Personal-sized 5" savory pie - slow-cooked brisket with onions, gravy and our house smoked porter, all baked within our house-made all-butter crust. Comes with side of house-made pickled onions.
  • Spicy Curry Veggie Pie (Gluten Free -OR- Vegan): The spicy veggie curry has sweet potatoes, potato, carrots, onions, peas and corn with curry spices and coconut milk and oil. The filling has no gluten or dairy/meat products.     NOTE: The crust of the Spicy Curry Veggie Pie makes it GF or Vegan. The Gluten-Free crust is made with real butter and a blend of gluten free ingredients. The Vegan crust is made with unbleached flour with vegan butter. The combination of vegan butter and gluten free "flour" doesn't make a good crust for the pies, so it is either one or the other.
  • Kale Salad: This is a larger (3x) portion of the kale side salad. It is dressed with olive oil, lemon juice, garlic and salt.
